Maimonides currently seeks a full-time outpatient palliative care physician for our established clinic at Maimonides Cancer Center.
Clinical: Provide outpatient palliative care, manage symptoms, facilitate advance care planning, build patient panel and referral relationships, collaborate with oncology and multidisciplinary teams.
Growth : Opportunities to expand services to non-cancer populations and develop palliative medicine fellowship program.
Academic : Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows; deliver lectures; pursue clinical research; potential SUNY Downstate faculty appointment.
Service : Engage in quality improvement initiatives, interdisciplinary committees, and clinical protocol development.
