Job Role: Mammography Technologist
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Duration: 3+ Months
Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
Pay Rate: $55/hr - $58/hr
Required: 2 years prior experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist
License & Certification: - ARRT, Diagnostic Radiography License.
Skills:
Technical expertise in operating mammography equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring
high-quality diagnostic images.
Must be able to do screenings and diagnostic mammogram
Patient care & communication skills to provide comfort, explain procedures, and support patients
who may be anxious or in pain.
Duties:
Performs diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on adult, adolescent, and
geriatric patients in an expedient and professional manner.
Performs mammographic imaging for breast needle localization procedures and stereotactic
procedures inclusive of set up and clean up.
Assists in procedures using ultrasound guidance.
