Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Training and Communications Specialist for one of our oncology healthcare clients who will play a key role in organizing, modernizing, and harmonizing supporting documentation that enables clinical research across the IT research department of this institution and several partner organizations. The role bridges research knowledge, training design, and information organization, ensuring that learning materials are clear, consistent, and scalable across a complex academic medical ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for curating, standardizing, and maintaining user guides, policies, FAQs, system instructions, and SOPs across multiple platforms like including SharePoint, Confluence (Wiki), and institutional Learning Management Systems (LMS). This person should be a skilled communicator with the ability to cross-collaborate across multiple HR departments and Learning Management systems. They should have a strong sense of organization, design, and continuity of information.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Information Management, Clinical Research, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in documentation management, knowledge management, or training development in healthcare, research, or academic environments.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research operations, systems, and terminology (clinical trials experience highly preferred).
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Confluence, or similar knowledge management platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience organizing and presenting data in a clear, modern format.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Plusses :

  • Background in research IT or healthcare IT environments.
  • Familiarity with instructional design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PowerPoint).

Structure:

  • 6 month contract + extension or conversion
  • Location: Remote, must sit in New England (MA, CT, RI, NH, VT)
