Position Summary

We are looking for a Furniture Installer to add to our team. You will be expected to install and assemble office furniture, including systems furniture, case goods, lounge furniture, accessories, etc., within customers' facilities professionally and efficiently. You will be responsible for the timely completion of projects with a high level of workmanship and customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Eye for detail
• Ability to read plans (architectural and furniture) for specific furniture locations and arrangements preferred
• Ability to read furniture assembly instructions preferred
• Ability to work with technology, such as using your phone for looking up information on projects and receiving instructions for the day
• Ability to take instructions from others
• Ability to work well with a team, but also be able to work on your own
• Self-motivated
• Problem-solving is key
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently
• Customer Service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally with both customers and coworkers
• Hardworking and strong desire to succeed
• Must be self-directing and able to adapt quickly to changing conditions
• Availability to occasionally work after hours and weekends

Education & Experience

• Experience working with your hands and basic tools – mechanically inclined
• Must have a valid driver's license
