Job Description

Our client, a respected organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking a Clinical Applications Analyst to join their Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc) team. While the position is listed at a senior level, candidates at mid- and junior-levels are encouraged to apply. Our client is open to training individuals with relevant user experience or a related background, even if they are not yet certified.

This is a hybrid role with an emphasis on local candidates who are able to be onsite for clinical site visits . Relocation may be considered from other Hawaiian islands; however, candidates based on the U.S. mainland are not being considered at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for complex, high-risk applications and systems in assigned clinical or business areas
• Deliver subject matter expertise and oversight for moderate to highly complex healthcare information systems
• Guide and develop best practices and procedures for system users; set priorities and provide technical direction
• Lead system planning efforts (both short- and long-term) in coordination with stakeholders and PMO
• Monitor and coordinate work assignments and project timelines to ensure successful implementation
• May supervise and direct the work of assigned team members

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in an IT role relevant to the responsibilities listed
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred
• Strong technical expertise in healthcare IT systems, specifically EHR/EMR platforms
• Proven ability to lead and execute projects of moderate complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
• In lieu of a degree, four (4) additional years of directly relevant IT experience may be accepted
• Willingness and ability to obtain necessary certifications for supported applications, as required

• Location Requirement: Must reside on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i
• Training Available: Non-certified candidates with relevant experience will be considered and may be trained
• Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not available
• Background Check: Required
• On-Call Responsibilities: Participation in an on-call rotation may be required
