Your new company:

HAYS are looking to partner with a Project Executive to join one of the leading general contractors in the DMV area. Open to Senior Project Managers seeking progression into a Project Executive role. Or current Project Executives/Directors looking for continued career progression. This role is specific to high-profile, corporate interior construction projects in the DC area. $190K - $225K base salary plus comprehensive benefits.

The position:

As a Construction Project Executive, you will be tasked with leading a program of commercial interior construction projects. These projects will be high-profile, up to 300,000 sq ft, multi-million dollar projects.

This role will capture the full lifecycle of the commercial projects from start to finish from the perspective of you leading projects as the general contractor. You will engaged in the process from preconstruction, design, permitting, zoning, construction/project management and handover to the client, managing internal and external stakeholders throughout the process. You will be managing a team of 5-8 within a project management team, titles ranging from Project Engineer - Project Manager.

This position will develop into a Vice President of Construction position in 2-3 years time if are seeking continued career development in people management. Or there are business focused paths available.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

• 10+ of working for a General Contractor as a Snr Project Manager or Project Executive, where you are taking full ownership of project delivery from preconstruction, construction, and handover.
• Proficient understanding and expertise in commercial interiors construction or complex renovation work up in excess of $20M on singular or multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate and develop relationships with multiple vendors including brokers, end client, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and the internal company employees.
• Degree in Construction, Architecture, Business or Engineering.
• Currently living and have commercial construction general contracting experience in DC, MD or VA.

Salary, Bonus and Benefit Highlights:

• Base salary evaluated on experience, range of $190K - $225K.
• Vehicle allowance starting at $600 per month OR company vehicle/gas card.
• Annual bonus plan based on company health and individual contributions based off of construction project P&L.
• In addition, annual company profit sharing plan.

• 401k retirement savings plan with a 4-5% match.
• 3 weeks starting vacation, plus sick and company observed holidays.
