Sofidel America is seeking a skilled Construction & Facilities Project Engineer to manage and execute construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects. This role ensures that all projects meet Sofidel’s high standards for quality, safety, cost control, and sustainability, and that all facilities operate efficiently and reliably.
This position involves regular travel to Sofidel America sites, close collaboration with corporate and plant leadership, and the flexibility to balance project-based work with ongoing operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, budget, and coordinate construction, renovation, and expansion projects for Sofidel America facilities
· Work with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
· Support the operation and upkeep of building systems, utilities, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations
· Prepare project status reports, budgets, and forecasts for review by leadership
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, facilities management, or a related field
· 5 years of experience in construction project execution and/or corporate facilities operations
· Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and regulatory codes
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
· Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
