Job Description

We are looking for a versatile and self-driven content creator who can serve as a one-person band for producing weekly YouTube videos and accompanying review articles. You will be creating video similar to this channel:

This role is ideal for someone who loves testing products, creating engaging video content, and translating their findings into super high-quality written articles. You will have the support of a remote video editor and a web-developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Weekly Video Production: Create one high-quality YouTube video per week following a format similar to Project Farm. This includes scripting, filming product tests, and ensuring the video is engaging and informative.
• Weekly Article Writing: Alongside each video, write one high-quality review article summarizing the test results. The article should follow a standard format aligned with Google's best practices for review content, making it both SEO-friendly and reader-friendly.
• Product Testing & Analysis: Receive a category of products to review (e.g., best handheld vacuums). Order around five products per category, set up and conduct scientific tests (with support for equipment), and document all findings with data and visuals.
• Content Documentation: Record all testing procedures on video, take high-quality photos, and compile data into charts or visual aids to be used both in the video and the article.
• Collaboration & Handoff: Once the raw video content is ready, hand it off to a remote video editor for final polishing. Similarly, coordinate with a web developer who will upload the finished articles.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in video creation, from scripting to shooting and basic editing.
• Ability to conduct structured product tests and interpret results.
• Comfortable with minimal but consistent script writing and following a repeatable format.
• Good communication skills for working with remote editors and developers.
• Passion for creating clear, helpful, and data-backed content that viewers and readers can trust.

Salary 80k-100k per year + 10% off affiliate sales.
