We are building a remote-first, high-performance team with a deep focus on algorithmic edge and trader development.

Role Description

Uprety Capital is seeking driven and analytically-minded individuals for a full-time remote internship as a US Equities Trader. Interns will gain hands-on experience in trading strategy development, market research, and real-time execution alongside a collaborative and experienced trading team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and testing of equities and options trading strategies
• Conduct technical analysis and monitor market trends
• Support daily trading operations and trade reviews
• Prepare performance reports and market briefings
• Collaborate with the trading team on trade ideas and research
• Analyze price action, volume flows, and key catalysts in major tickers (e.g., SPY, NVDA, TSLA)

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the stock market, trading mechanics, and equity options
• Proficiency in technical analysis tools (e.g., TradingView, ThinkOrSwim, Sierra Chart)
• Ability to identify setups based on price structure, volume, and momentum
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
• Prior internship or trading experience preferred

Compensation and Advancement:

This is a paid internship . Top-performing interns may be offered a full-time trader position with a base salary and profit-sharing incentives . We aim to identify and develop future portfolio managers and high-performing traders within the firm.
