Job Description

The Territory Manager is a vital customer-facing role responsible for driving business growth within an assigned region. This fully remote position involves regular travel to dealerships, auctions, and other relevant locations throughout the Central Kentucky area.

The successful candidate will proactively seek opportunities to establish new relationships while nurturing existing partnerships, providing outstanding, personalized service to our valued dealer partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and enhance dealer partner performance to increase market share.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Manage and grow a profitable portfolio, balancing growth and loss mitigation.
  • Occasionally engage in collection activities.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of relevant state laws applicable to independent auto dealers.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with dealer partners through regular communication and in-person meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal administrative and audit teams to educate dealers on company software and policies.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Actively contribute to a team-oriented environment to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales, with prior experience in automotive or finance sectors advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to superior customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Successful completion of drug screening and background check.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $55,000 (increases based on experience)
  • First-year commission typically $20,000 - $25,000
  • Average annual earnings around $100,000 after the first year
  • Company car and all business-related travel expenses covered
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with a 4% match
