Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role requires 3 to 4 years of professional accounting experience and strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager . The ideal candidate will also have experience reviewing K-1 forms and supporting investment reporting processes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with both the property management and investment teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile bank accounts, investment balances, and intercompany accounts
• Utilize Yardi Voyager and Yardi Investment Management to support both operational and investment accounting functions
• Assist with investor reporting, capital calls, and distributions
• Review and track K-1s received from partnership entities
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation
• Assist with external audits by preparing supporting documentation
• Collaborate with property managers, asset managers, and the investment team on financial matters

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience (real estate or private equity preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager
• Strong understanding of GAAP and investment structures
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
