Senior Project Architect | Office Interiors

Client :

Our client, located in NYC, provides architecture, interior design and planning solutions for their corporate interior and retail clients.

Description:

Our client is looking for a senior level architectural professional who has minimum of 10 years experience in Corporate Interiors . They are looking for someone who can mentor junior team members as well as support and strengthen the firms deliverables and client interaction by contributing to drawing reviews, code reviews and in addition have strong AutoCAD skills in all aspects of documentation and construction administration for their corporate interior projects across the US.

You will be working with the firms ownership and directors on their corporate accounts and in spearheading the documentation of the design for office interiors, core facilities, lobbies, and other real estate driven capital improvement projects for building owners and tenants. Candidates must have a strong understanding of all phases of the project process especially in the coordination of other consultants including MEP engineering, structural engineering, acoustical engineering and building department filing requirements. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to work with other team members to meet project goals and deadlines.

Required:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience with previous experience working in a corporate interiors architecture office.
  • A professional degree in architecture or interior design.
  • High level understanding of interior construction.
  • Experience with shop drawings and submittal review and their impact to the construction process including scheduling and costs.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary:

100-120k
