Senior Cost Accountant

LHH is conducting a search for a hands-on Sr. Cost Accountant. The role is with an international, family owned Medical Device Manufacturing company. The employees at this company are like family and they hope that whoever comes in can bring fresh, new ideas.

This is a direct hire, hybrid role (2x on site, 3x remote ) in Princeton, NJ.

A Day in the Life

This is one of the most important positions in the company as you will oversee the cost accounting & WIP functions of a $10M subsidiary. You will be responsible for oversight of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), raw material, work in progress (WIP), creation of polices and procedures, developing production schedules, and analyzing the bottom line.

You have a strong understanding of corporate accounting functions, including month end close, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation functions.

Integrity, excellent organizational skills, and communication skills are just some of the core focuses of the role.

Job Requirements

You possess:

• At least 5+ years relevant, stable accounting/ financial experience
• Experience in manufacturing, including experience with WIP, and cost accounting is required
• Excellent communication skills and can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• In depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including financial statement prep
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Tech savvy with strong working knowledge of MS Office, including demonstrable expertise with Excel

Salary : $100,000 - 115,000

Bonus : 10%

Location : Princeton, NJ*

*Hybrid - 2x on site, 3x remote
