Job Description

As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Legal team located at our Corporate HQ in Mechanicsburg, PA plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home®.

As an Operations Security Manager at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by owning the overall security for the company including access controls, intrusion alarms, security camera coordination and installation with select vendors.

What You’ll Contribute

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Manage and ownership of the overall physical security of the company including access controls, intrusion alarms, security camera coordination and installation with select vendors.
  • Authority to collaborate with ADT and Verkada to plan and coordinate the installation of the security controls.
  • Ownership over developing and/or updating a plan indicating the location of all security controls that must be developed for each West Shore Home location in coordination with the General Managers; maintain file plans in the Facilities Department database.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to confirm sufficient protection, assess threat levels on site and implement immediate security countermeasures.
  • Control and monitor camera viewing and assist in any investigation of any possible crime activities including onsite inspections of fence lines, parking areas and exterior lighting.
  • Develop reporting and make recommendations to improve the physical security of each location.

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, criminology, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities with the ability to work both on a team (as member and/or leader) and independently to deliver results.
  • Experience implementing a wide range of change management and process improvement activities, based on broader organizational goals.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
