Master's degree in Social Work and an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Social Work are required.

Position Details:

Position : School Counselor or School Social Worker

Grades : 3-5

Hours : 35 hours per week

Caseload : estimated 20-25

Responsibilities :

• Support the social and emotional development of students.
• Participate in evaluations, eligibility meetings, and reporting.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive environment.
• Support MTSS students and staff.
• Conduct student check-ins and check-outs.
• Lead SEL building activities and monthly groups.
• Provide services for arrivals, dismissals, and student support.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Social Work.
