Job Description

Vuori is re-defining what athletic apparel looks like: built to move and sweat in but designed with a casual aesthetic to transition into everyday life. We draw inspiration from an active coastal California lifestyle; an integration of fitness, creative expression and life. Our high energy fast paced retail environment is reflected in the clothes we make. We aim to inspire others to take on all aspects of their lives with clarity, enthusiasm and purpose…while having a lot of fun along the way. We are proud to be an outlet for opportunity and for personal growth and success.

Job Description

You’ll play an essential role in building Onboarding and Learning Journeys that fuel the growth and development of Vuori’s retail fleet. This is a unique opportunity to build programs from the ground up while leveraging the strengths of a company culture deeply committed to developing the whole person—both in and outside of work. The ideal candidate for this role has strong foundational work in learning and development, with experiences building content across multiple modalities leveraging cutting-edge content design techniques. You possess a craftsman mentality and are eager to support the development of materials that educate on our values and competencies and leadership capabilities. Your commitment to collaboration is paired with innovative approaches to development that enable us to test new modalities and rethink traditional HR-models. In this role, you'll report to the Director, Retail Learning and Development and collaborate closely with our Retail Learning and Development and People and Culture team.

What you'll get to do:

  • Design, create, and iterate on learning materials that drive behavior change, build knowledge retention, and create clear pathways that foster connection, simplify learning, and inspire employees to live our values.
  • Produce and edit captivating content, and interactive training elements to enhance the retail onboarding and learning journey.
  • Partner with the Director of Retail Learning and Senior Retail Learning Manager to identify outcomes, content needs and recommend and implement strategies for learning.
  • Recommend platforms and tools that can deliver learning content to employees in the absence of a Learning Management System.
  • Assess and gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to refine and ensure programs continue to meet outcomes.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • You have a strong understanding of the unique dynamics, pace, and needs of a retail workforce and customer-facing teams
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills that span a variety of modalities (in person, virtual eLearning, self-paced resources, video, etc.)
  • Keen eye for visual design and ability to leverage brand standards
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write digestible copy, instructional text, audio/video scripts, handouts, etc.
  • Knowledge of course development software (Articulate, Vyond, WalkMe, etc.)
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to set and manage expectations and competing priorities.
  • 4+ years professional experience
