Now Hiring: Quality Assurance Technician – Stockton, CA

Full Steam Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician for our client in Stockton, CA . The QA Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and food safety regulations.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and audits of products, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Collect, document, and analyze data to identify trends or deviations in quality.
• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities.
• Prepare reports and assist with documentation required for audits and customer reviews.
• Ensure all products meet regulatory, company, and customer specifications before release.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety and product consistency.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of experience in a food production or quality assurance environment
• Working knowledge of food safety programs (GMP, HACCP, SQF preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (bilingual English/Spanish preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of QA or QC experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in meat, dairy, or refrigerated product facilities
• Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring devices, or scan gun systems

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a cold production environment (30–50°F)
• Frequently required to bend, lift, and move up to 25 lbs.
• Regular use of hands and fingers for data entry and sample handling
• Must be comfortable working in a moderate to loud environment
