Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC 28217 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Pay-rate: $20-25/hr.

Duration: 6 months contract with possible extension

Duties:

• Second level of support to assist with payroll activities and high priority projects as needed to ensure payroll accuracy and timely payroll processing.
• 2nd Level Support – Research and resolve work orders from the Customer Service team.
• Assist Customer Service Associates, when necessary, on incoming calls.
• Mentor Associates as needed with work order resolution.
• Review activity log in work orders for detail and accuracy and coach Associates when missing or inaccurate information is uncovered.
• Ability to understand and suggest resolution to issues that arise with current and new business.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of payroll policies and procedures,
• Strong working knowledge of all payroll applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a confidential environment.
