• Onsite role.
• Work Schedule: Mon – Fri; 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Pacific Time.

Description:

• This position is for a high-volume Pediatric Cardiology Program which encompasses sub specialized cardiac programs.
• Under the general direction of the Program Supervisor and the Pediatric Cardiology Director of Cardiac MRI, the Program Coordinator must have the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and work well with staff and faculty in a complex environment.
• Analytical and practice support will be provided for the Cardiac and “3D+” practices by supporting the Pediatric Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program, Center for Advanced 3D+ Technologies (CA3D+), and other nursing/physician clinical support as needed.
• The position will identify and implement operational improvements to ensure high quality service to patients.
• Applies broad knowledge of clinical, regulatory, and operational practices to implement and monitor the operations of the Pediatric Cardiac MRI program and CA3D+ including clinical scheduling, insurance authorizations, documentation, financial reporting, IT systems, facilities, and procedures are compliant and meet clinical standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience needed: Customer service mainly on phone, workqueue management, scheduling of patients, organized, detailed orientated and if possible, experience with APEX.
• A high degree of independence, initiative, assertiveness, and diplomacy are necessary in daily practice.
