Salary:

Guaranteed base pay for first 6 months, then commission (1.75%–2.25%) based on sales volume.

Job Summary:

The Land Sales Representative guides buyers through the sales process with professionalism and expertise, understanding land characteristics, zoning, and county regulations, while building strong client relationships and delivering consistent sales performance. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Represents the company in the sale of rural land tracts, matching properties with customer needs and investment goals.
  • Conducts in-person and virtual property tours, highlighting key features, improvements, and potential land uses.
  • Advises customers regarding land development potential, access, utilities, property taxes, and agricultural exemptions.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of available inventory, pricing, and financing options.
  • Generates new leads through marketing efforts, networking, and client referrals.
  • Accurately maintains CRM systems with client communications, property showings, and transaction milestones.
  • Attends marketing events, open land tours, and trade shows to promote available properties.
  • Stays current with rural land market trends and real estate best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and relationship-building.

• Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-up.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and meet sales goals.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business, marketing, or real estate preferred.
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Three to five years of experience selling products or services.

Work Schedule and Time Off:

The Land Sales Representative position requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate customer needs. Office days are currently scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, but showings and client meetings frequently occur during evenings and weekends based on buyer availability. There is no set daily work schedule, and flexibility is essential for success in this role. Please note that scheduled office days may change in the future based on business needs.

After 6 months, you’ll have access to our unlimited vacation policy (with manager approval to ensure team coverage) - giving you the flexibility to recharge and perform your best.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods working at a desk and on a computer.

• Ability to walk large, uneven tracts of land in varying weather conditions.

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for client meetings and property tours.

Compensation and job perks:

  • Commission-based, with rates ranging from 1.75% to 2.25% depending on total sales volume within a calendar year. A guaranteed base pay will be provided to ensure stable income while you ramp up.
