Order Processing Manager

Company Summary

Ricardo Beverly Hills is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Order Processing Manager to lead our Order Processing Department. This pivotal role will be responsible for ensuring seamless order transactions and providing exceptional service to our retail clients, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing our order fulfillment processes. Understanding and experience with EDI (Electronic Database Interchange) is crucial for this role as over 90% of all orders are processed in this method.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the order processing cycle, from order receipt to shipment and delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize order fulfillment, streamline processes, and reduce processing times.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Manage and mentor a team of order processing professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Identify and resolve order-related issues, discrepancies, and customer inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in order processing or order management, with a strong understanding of order fulfillment processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in order processing software and systems, with a capacity to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience or knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) functionality and procedures within manufacturing/distribution settings. Apprise ERP knowledge is a plus.

Preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with EDI related order transactions.
