Schedule:

We offer client appointments Monday-Thursday from 7:30am-6:30pm. We will work with you to find hours that fit your needs.

Occupational Therapist Position Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist at Strengths in Motion, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of children ages 2-18 by increasing their participation in meaningful activities. You will work closely with children of varying diagnoses, using a strengths-based approach to help them develop the skills they need to thrive in everyday tasks. Your expertise and creativity will be key in designing engaging, movement-based interventions that empower children to build confidence, independence, and achieve their full potential in a supportive and fun environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to children ages 2-18.
• Conduct initial evaluations and annual re-evaluations.
• Complete required clinical documentation including but not limited to: treatment plans, daily documentation, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with parents to develop home programming and ensure skills are generalized across people and environments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists and Speech- Language Pathologists.

Pay/Benefits:

• $32 - $37 per hour
• Flexible schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Minnesota Department of Health Occupational Therapist License (or in process of applying for state license)
• NBCOT Certification (or in process of obtaining)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a pediatric setting
