Job Description
**Responsibilities**
The Monitor Tech is responsible for performing and editing EKGs for both inpatients and outpatients, as well as conducting stress tests, including pharmacologic and standard protocols.
+ Proficient in performance of EKGS, testing of both inpatients and outpatients.
+ Proficient performing Stress Tests on outpatients and inpatients on pharmacologic as well as regular stress tests
+ Performs editing of EKGs within the department and assists with the maintenance of the MUSE system.
+ Handling of front desk duties of scheduling and coordinating of studies as needed.
+ Maintains and organizes his unit with supplies and equipment.
+ Completes special projects as assigned by leadership
**Qualifications**
**Minimum:**
+ HS diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
+ Minimum of one year experience as cardiology technician, or experience as a monitor technician
+ Basic EKG class or successful completion of the Basic Rhythm test
+ Current American Heart Association-issued BLS card
**Preferred:**
+ Previous skills in EKG and stress test performance

$18.00 - $21.40 /hour
