Job Description

**Responsibilities** The Monitor Tech is responsible for performing and editing EKGs for both inpatients and outpatients, as well as conducting stress tests, including pharmacologic and standard protocols. + Proficient in performance of EKGS, testing of both inpatients and outpatients. + Proficient performing Stress Tests on outpatients and inpatients on pharmacologic as well as regular stress tests + Performs editing of EKGs within the department and assists with the maintenance of the MUSE system. + Handling of front desk duties of scheduling and coordinating of studies as needed. + Maintains and organizes his unit with supplies and equipment. + Completes special projects as assigned by leadership **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + HS diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience + Minimum of one year experience as cardiology technician, or experience as a monitor technician + Basic EKG class or successful completion of the Basic Rhythm test + Current American Heart Association-issued BLS card **Preferred:** + Previous skills in EKG and stress test performance **Overview** Hello Humankindness ( Arizona General Hospital Mesa is a 50 bed non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around Mesa, Arizona.
