Position Title: Millwright
Location: Gouverneur, NY (On-Site)

Position Overview:
A mining operation located in Gouverneur, NY is currently seeking a skilled Millwright to join their maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment used in production. The site is within close reach of major recreational areas including the Thousand Islands, Lake Ontario, the Adirondacks, and ski resorts such as Lake Placid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair cone and jaw crushers, screens, conveyor systems, rollers, and drive units
• Rebuild and service industrial slurry pumps
• Perform welding, fabrication, and pipe fitting tasks
• Maintain accurate logs of repairs and preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with the mill operations team to minimize downtime and support continuous production
• Ensure compliance with MSHA and company safety procedures
• Flexible availability outside of standard hours for troubleshooting and project work
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with rod and ball milling
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and industrial machinery
• Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments
• Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

Nice-to-Have:

• Previous industrial or mining experience
