Job Description

North Shore Medical Labs, a CAP-accredited clinical laboratory with over 35 years of service, is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLT) licensed in New York State to join our Microbiology Department .

Position: Part-Time (flexible hours) or Full-Time

Location: Nassau County New York

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized testing in the microbiology department.
• Accurately analyze and interpret results in compliance with laboratory standards.
• Maintain quality assurance and adhere to CAP/CLIA/NYS regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to support patient care and physician needs.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Prior experience in microbiology within a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
