Medical Scribe Job Description We are seeking dedicated Medical Scribes to join our San Antonio clinics, providing essential support across various locations! As part of the team, you will document physician visits in the EMR system, assist with scribing, and handle instruments upon the physician's request. You will also perform patient work-ups post-doctor visits and communicate effectively with patients about procedures and treatments. Responsibilities + Document physician visits in the EMR system. + Assist with scribing duties. + Handle medical instruments as directed by the physician. + Conduct patient work-ups following doctor visits. + Communicate procedures and treatments to patients. Essential Skills + Proficiency in medical assisting. + Strong understanding of medical terminology. + Experience in patient care. + Familiarity with EMR systems. + Typing and data entry skills. Qualifications + Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a life science preferred + On-site medical scribing experience + Ophthalmic experience preferred. + Bilingual skills are a plus. + Hands-on patient care experience is highly preferred. + Ability to multitask in a high-volume patient care setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
