Position: Employment Discrimination Attorney

Location: On-Site | 1 World Trade Center, New York, NY

Overview:

A prominent law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Employment Discrimination Attorney for a full-time, on-site position at its 1 World Trade Center office. The successful candidate will play a vital role in representing clients in employment law matters, with a strong focus on discrimination and harassment cases. This position involves delivering strategic legal counsel, conducting in-depth legal research, and advocating vigorously on behalf of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice and representation in employment discrimination and harassment matters
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and litigation efforts
Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients during mediations and hearings
Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to build strong cases and deliver optimal outcomes
Stay current with evolving employment law regulations and legal precedents

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the state bar (New York preferred)
Demonstrated expertise in labor and employment law, with a focus on discrimination and harassment cases
Exceptional legal research, analytical, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proven ability to manage a dynamic caseload and perform under pressure
