Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager – Contract Role

Location: Onsite, Clayton (with occasional outdoor/construction site presence)

We are supporting a major pharmaceutical client in their search for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager to assist in the delivery of cross-functional projects within a structured PMO. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment and would suit someone with strong coordination skills and prior exposure to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Project Manager and PMO in project execution
• Independently manage specific project deliverables aligned to scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Monitor project KPIs and performance metrics
• Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and PM leadership
• Ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist in managing changes in scope and maintaining project documentation

Required Background:

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of project management experience
• Associate’s degree or vocational training with 4+ years of project management experience
• 2+ years of PM experience gained through military service

Preferred Experience:

• Prior involvement in cross-functional IT or engineering projects
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Clear written and verbal communication
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function independently and within a team
• Knowledge of cGMP principles
• Comfortable working in loud, outdoor, or unconditioned environments when required
• Physically able to move items up to 33 lbs within a facility
