Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Maintenance Technician in a glass manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, bearings, and conveyor systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting (motors, sensors, PLC familiarity preferred).
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Requirements)

• Maintenance of tempering furnaces, glass cutting tables, laminating lines, or similar specialized equipment.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and automated production systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic with a strong background in maintaining and repairing glass manufacturing and fabrication equipment. This role is critical to ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency for machinery used in cutting, tempering, laminating, and insulating glass products. Spanish/English bilingual proficiency is required to communicate effectively with diverse teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on glass processing equipment (e.g., tempering furnaces, cutting tables, laminating lines, CNC machines).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret OEM manuals, schematics, and technical drawings for repairs and installations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues and implement long‑term solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and parts inventory in compliance with company standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
