Job Description

Our client, an exclusive private member's club is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join their team in New York, NY!

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality work.
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, conduct regular inspections of all areas on property, and ensure that cleanliness standards are consistently met to the highest degree.
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment, ordering new stock as needed.
  • Respond to guest complaints and requests about cleanliness promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth overall operations.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of progressive work experience in a Housekeeping Manager position. Either in a hospitality setting or in a private household.
  • Ideally 2+ years of management experience overseeing a housekeeping team.
