Job Title: Fund Accountant – Multi-Strategy Funds
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $100K–$115K Base + Bonus 10–15%
A leading multi-strategy investment firm is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its accounting team supporting hedge, private equity, and credit strategies. This hands-on role offers broad exposure across products and functions in a lean, high-visibility environment . You will collaborate closely with investment, operations, compliance, and client relations teams to ensure accurate reporting, efficient fund operations, and a strong investor experience.
Oversee fund accounting and operations for multiple alternative investment vehicles.
Coordinate with third-party administrators on NAVs, audits, financial statements, and investor reporting.
Support valuations, budgeting, treasury, and regulatory filings in partnership with internal teams.
Assist with new fund launches and process enhancements to improve efficiency.
Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on ongoing fund and investor deliverables.
3–5 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or public accounting.
Background in alternative investments preferred (hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, funds-of-funds, or multi-strategy).
Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with partnership accounting standards.
CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
