Full Stack Engineer – Trading Systems

One of the world’s top proprietary trading firms is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join its elite Trading Systems Engineering team. In this role, you’ll build and support the critical platforms that power high performance, global trading operations. You’ll develop end-to-end solutions across front-end interfaces, back-end services, and real-time infrastructure playing a key role in maintaining trading continuity and enabling innovation across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications supporting the lifecycle of electronic trading, from order management to monitoring and post-trade analytics.
• Collaborate directly with traders, quants, and other engineers to rapidly develop tooling and dashboards that improve system visibility and trader efficiency.
• Enhance automation pipelines for configuration, deployment, and monitoring of trading infrastructure.
• Debug and resolve real-time production issues, including interfacing with trading and research teams during the trading day.
• Continuously improve performance, scalability, and fault-tolerance across critical trading system components.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming experience across frontend and backend systems; proficiency in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript preferred.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) and backend service development (Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, or similar).
• Familiarity with systems-level concepts such as Linux internals, process/threading models, networking (TCP/UDP), and performance monitoring.
• Experience scripting for automation and troubleshooting, ideally with Bash and Python.
• Understanding of production support in a trading or real-time systems environment; experience with C++ is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with end users in a high-pressure environment.
