Job Overview

As a Freight Broker, you will be the key link between shippers and carriers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of developing long-term partnerships with both clients and carriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
  • Proactively identify and onboard new customers and carriers to expand our network.
  • Negotiate competitive rates and secure capacity for shipments.
  • Oversee the end-to-end freight process , ensuring timely pickup, transit, and delivery.
  • Resolve any transportation issues quickly and effectively, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, pricing, and regulations to optimize logistics strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and carriers to ensure smooth transactions and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a logistics-related role.
  • A strong network of carriers and shippers is a plus.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Proficiency in transportation management software (TMS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
