As a **Forklift Operator / Material Handler** , you'll be at the center of seed production, handling everything from harvest to packaging and shipping. If you're adaptable, reliable, and ready to roll with the seasons, we want you on our team. **️** **What You'll Do** + Receive and process crop trucks during harvest (Sept-Oct) + Clean combines and support harvest operations + Supply seeds to the Conditioning department + Apply treatments, label, tag, bag, and palletize seeds (Nov-Mar) + Enter inventory data into computer systems + Stage and ship seed products + Retag and re-bag returned seeds (Apr-Aug) + Inspect and wash pro boxes for reuse **✅** **What You Bring** + Knowledge of production agriculture or plant operations + Ability to work safely while maintaining seed quality + Strong decision-making and teamwork skills + Forklift experience preferred + Reliable transportation and punctuality + Ability to lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs and work in varied environments + Willingness to work long hours, rotational shifts, and overtime + Effective communication skills and a positive attitude **** **Why You'll Love Working Here** + Supportive team and great local reputation + Opportunities for growth and skill development + A role that keeps you moving and engaged year-round **️** **Work Environment** + Indoor and outdoor work with lots of walking + Rotating schedule every 4 weeks + Shifts may include: + **Day Shift:** 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Mon-Thurs) + **Night Shift:** 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Mon-Thurs) + **Night shift pay increase** for hours worked after 6 PM **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of New Madrid, MO. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
