Footwear Buyer - Men’s and Women’s

This role is responsible for merchandise selection and inventory management across retail and online channels. The focus is on developing well-balanced product assortments and managing inventory flow to align with market needs.

The buyer works collaboratively with various internal teams to support consistent brand presentation and effective inventory strategies. Analytical skills are used to assess business performance and help meet financial goals while managing budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support sales and profitability objectives by refining product assortments based on market trends and business priorities.
• Develop product assortments for multiple retail channels, ensuring alignment with brand direction.
• Analyze sales data and trends to anticipate future assortment requirements.
• Work with allocation teams to coordinate inventory management and seasonal planning.
• Create merchandise plans that include short- and long-term strategies.
• Oversee product lifecycle from introduction through clearance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Several years of buying experience in retail or ecommerce environments.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of retail metrics.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software for data analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work well within teams and build relationships.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and systems.
