LHH is supporting our client hiring a Financial Analyst with a lot of growth. This job is just North of Vancouver and is hybrid in office (2 days onsite per week).

Position Title: Financial Analyst

Compensation: $80-105K, plus 15% bonus target

Growth : Someone to promote to SFA in 12-18 months, and who wants a path to Director of Finance in 5-6 years.

Hours/Site: 40 hrs off-peak, 50 hrs peak. Hybrid 2 days per week in office

This job:

• Budgeting for the Operations and full working business unit, a lot of gathering information and updating files; Heavy focus on Variance Analysis, KPIs, Reporting
• Participate in intelligent conversations about the variance reporting and narrative around the variance itself
• Analyze Standard Cost to update our cost estimates; Compare Standards to Actual to track variance of COGS
• Will help guide plants through inventory observances, inventory reserve analysis and accruals
• Analyzing Performance, Variance, Results and Reporting
• Help with Journal entries, help with various close functions

We are looking for:

• BS in Finance, Accounting or Business
• 3+ years of Financial Analysis or closely relatable experience; Also looking at people with 8+ years of experience. Not open to new grads with little to no hands on experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience is required
• Inventory Accounting/Inventory Counts is required , and strong preference to those with Standard Cost
• Must have experience with an ERP System and Strong Excel
• Ability to question, and dig deeper, follow up with people throughout the organization if the data looks odd
• Comfortable with the conversation around strategy and narrative
