BBVA Securities Inc. (BSI), the U.S. broker-dealer of the BBVA Group, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager – Engineering to lead complex transformation programs under the firm’s BSI 2.0 initiative. This role is instrumental in enabling the expansion of BSI’s capital markets platform, including new product launches (repos, equity derivatives, QIS), onboarding of strategic vendors (e.g., Murex, Calypso, Broadridge), and regulatory enablement in a highly governed U.S. environment.

Qualifications
Experience : 10+ years of experience managing complex transformation or platform delivery programs in broker-dealers or regulated financial institutions.
Knowledge: In Banking and Financial Sector regulatory framework and familiarity. Proven experience with capital markets systems such as Murex, Calypso, Broadridge, AxiomSL, or equivalent. Deep understanding of financial products including: U.S. Treasuries, corporate bond repos, securities lending, equity derivatives, structured notes, and cleared swaps. Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks and capital requirements.
Stakeholder Management : Ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and corporate clients.
Education : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or relevant banking certifications will be appreciated.
Language : English Speaker, desirable Spanish as a second language.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $170,000 to $185,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
