Epic EMR Analyst needed for a full-time, temp 6 month contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Napa, CA. Options for Fairfield or West Sacramento areas depending on candidate chosen.
EHR champion and subject matter expert. Accountable for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the healthcare organization's EMR system, Epic. This includes system management, workflow optimization, training and support, data analysis and reporting, compliance, and collaboration.
--> This position will be onsite Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm starting ASAP until around April 2026.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- OCHIN Epic/Epic experience required
- Training experience preferred
- EHR Support Analyst Certification
- Advanced Microsoft Office user
- Two or more years experience in a healthcare setting or working for an EHR vendor/contracting organization
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as an application expert, supporting staff with technical assistance and software application training
- Work with internal team members and external OCHIN analysts on software build and maintenance
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of system changes and implementing such changes, when necessary, into application workflows
- Actively participate in staff onboarding and training of EHR and health information technology initiatives
- Provide real-time support, via chat or in-person, to all staff across the service area
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Must be confident with gathering information, learning technical details, and communicating effectively with others
- Previous experience providing daily support to Epic application users via troubleshooting and coaching
- Associate’s degree in health information technology/health information management preferred
- Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, teach, and counsel staff
