Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be fluent with recent versions of SolidWorks, with a minimum of 3-5 years work experience, able to review a mechanical system and understand its basic functionality and operation. They should have many years of work experience creating new part designs with critical tolerance dimensions for close fitting features (+/0.0001”) and create final production drawings. Having experience with more complicated automated systems with many moving components is ideal. Experience with precision measuring tools is required. Manufacturing, shop or machinist experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Manage all electrical/control projects

Electrical planning/design –Consult with vendors & specify components

Electro-pneumatic planning/design –Consult with vendors & specify components

Create electrical BOM’s for quoting & estimates

Create electrical schematics via SW Electrical or AutoCad

Electrical & Control wiring

Controls programming

Small project support

Simple control design for automation of components

Control System setup for Product Testing & FAT

Some mechanical assembly/disassembly

Other responsibilities:

• Develop various packaging concepts in coordination with finished products and materials used and ensure compatibility of packaging with manufacturing unit.
• Assist all internal teams and perform research on all products and evaluate packing requirements in development phase of all products.
• Provide support to all products, documents all activities and perform tests on product designs.
• Assist with packaging component and assemblies and coordinate with product designers and ensure compliance to all internal and external requirements.
• Provide technical support to all engineering and provide support to manufacturing and implementation processes of product packaging.
• Documents all engineering protocols and develop all engineering and manufacturing specification and ensure compliance.
• Prepare and document all tooling designs for packages and ensure maintenance of all bill of materials according to required specification.
• Review all new technology and prepare design to increase efficiency and ensure effective transition of all designs into design process.
• Coordinate with both national and international vendors and reduce material costs and plan related activities for packaging.
• Develop and maintain activity schedule for projects.
