About the Company:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and be familiar with a variety of tools and equipment commonly used in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Diagnose and repair diesel engine malfunctions and issues
• Perform tire services including rotations, replacements, and repairs
• Utilize hand tools to disassemble engine parts for inspection and repair
• Work on a variety of vehicles such as tractors, trailers, forklifts, bulldozers, Mack Trucks, Hino, Bobcats, Sanitation pump trucks and hook-trucks
• Perform suspension repairs and alignments
• Carry out DOT inspections
• Provide assistance with digging equipment repairs as needed
• Have experience with radiator replacements
• Air brake system experience
• Welding is a plus but not required

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in diesel engine repair
• Familiarity with tractor-trailers, forklifts, cranes, hook-trucks and other heavy equipment
• Ability to perform tire services efficiently
• Experience working in a dealership setting is a plus
• Proficiency with hand tools commonly used by mechanics
