Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Contracts & Vendor Risk Auditor for a prominent enterprise client. This position is designed for an experienced professional who will lead the contract quality control efforts within the Vendor Risk Program. You will oversee comprehensive contract assessments and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, playing a key role in mitigating vendor risks across a complex contract portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and daily management of the contract Quality Control (QC) program.
  • Test and verify vendor contracts for compliance with procurement policies and procedures, including thorough documentation reviews.
  • Develop and maintain processes to identify and prioritize high-risk contracts for QC assessment.
  • Report QC outcomes, trends, and risk insights to Supply Chain management and other key internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee third-party vendor contract compliance reviews, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of key contracts and contract requirements to monitor quality and adherence to procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with Vendor Risk Assessment staff, Supply Chain teams, and risk subject matter experts to manage and mitigate vendor-related risks.
  • Analyze historical risk data, research underlying risk drivers, and recommend enhancements to contract language and risk mitigation strategies, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations.
  • Coordinate annual risk training initiatives for the supply chain team to promote compliance awareness.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and external risk factors such as economic and political developments, forced labor, and human trafficking, adapting processes to reduce risk exposure.
  • Communicate contract QC results and critical risk information effectively to senior leadership, taking ownership of project outcomes that support a values-based organizational culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of professional experience with a minimum of 5-7 years in audit, compliance, process improvement, or organizational change management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor risk management, contract compliance, or quality control within supply chain or procurement environments.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards applicable to vendor contracts and supply chain risk.
  • Experience managing third-party compliance assessments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to analyze data trends and develop process improvements to mitigate risk.
