Job Description

We’re hiring a Commercial Estimator to support an expanding project pipeline for a well-established specialty contractor in the Orlando market. The company delivers drywall, interior and exterior wall systems, ceilings, and architectural specialties on high-profile commercial projects. This role plays a critical part in producing competitive estimates that win work and support long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for commercial drywall, wall systems, ceiling systems, and architectural specialty scopes.
• Perform takeoffs, review drawings and specifications, quantify labor and materials, and build pricing models.
• Lead bid development efforts and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Utilize estimating platforms such as Quick Bid and OST (or equivalent).
• Partner closely with project management and operations teams to validate assumptions and ensure constructibility.
• Present bids clearly and confidently to internal leadership and external partners.

What You Bring

• Proven experience estimating commercial construction scopes (drywall, framing, ceilings, architectural wall systems).
• Strong proficiency with Quick Bid, OST, or similar estimating software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Competitive mindset with a strong focus on accuracy, strategy, and winning work.
