🚧 Civil Engineer – Land Development (Chicago / Downers Grove, IL)

Are you a driven Civil Engineer with a passion for shaping the built environment? We’re looking for talented individuals to join our team; working out of headquarters in Downers Grove, Illinois to play a key role in designing infrastructure for a variety of land development projects.

What You’ll Do

• Lead design work for site infrastructure : pavement, roadways, grading/earthwork, erosion control
• Develop water distribution and sanitary sewer systems, storm sewer networks, and stormwater management systems
• Create drainage solutions, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), and erosion control strategies
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams on projects spanning warehouse/distribution centers, schools, offices, retail, healthcare, and recreational developments
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring design quality, constructability, and timely delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
