Job Title: Certified Pharmacy Tech

PR: $20/hr - $24/hr
Location: Charleston, SC
Hours: Rotating – work 5x8s between 630-10p and every other weekend
Must Haves:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred. Certification: Current national certification (e.g., PTCB or ExCpHT) Registration: Active state pharmacy technician registration in good standing. Experience: Previous hospital or healthcare pharmacy experience . Sterile and non sterile compounding experience preferred

Insight Global is looking for an inpatient pharmacy technician for a Children's Hospital in the Charleston SC area. This person supports the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and timely medication services to patients within a hospital setting. This role involves preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies. Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for inpatient and outpatient use. Maintain accurate medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating supplies. Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications following USP standards. Operate and maintain automated dispensing systems and other pharmacy equipment. Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of medications. Support medication reconciliation and patient safety initiatives. Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control procedures, and HIPAA regulations. Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
