Description
Texas Angels seeks self-motivating, energetic, compassionate, and dedicated Certified Nurse Aides, experienced Home Health Aides, Nursing Students, or Caregivers. Our Caregivers are focused on caring for our clients and driven to exceed standards of care and clients' expectations. Texas Angels caregivers are an integral part of our family, and we are committed to their personal growth and development.
Responsibilities
Provide home care services in clients' homes
Self-motivating and taking the initiative to support our clients
Perform domestic and household tasks
Transport and accompany patients to the doctor's office or hospital
Perform medication reminders
Assist with clients' personal care activities
Take the patient’s vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, B/P, etc.) and report observations of their condition.
Use digital client care records and write notes on services provided
Assist patients with ambulation
Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements
1 Year of caregiver experience
Proven work experience at a facility or agency as a Certified Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, Nursing Student, or Caregiver
Over 21 years of age
English and Spanish Speaker
Must pass a Background Check and have a clean Driving Record
Valid driver’s license
Reliable Transportation
Valid Automobile Insurance
Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds
Ability to take vital signs, temperature, respirations, and B/P
Proficiency in English and welcome additional languages
Caring and compassionate personality
Annual Flu Shot
Current CPR certificate
A Smartphone is required to access scheduling, clock-in and out, charting, etc.
