CAD Detailer/BIM Modeler for a local leading organization in
El Paso, IL . This is a direct hire opportunity with our client and a great entry level opportunity.
Offering a favorable base salary plus great bonus potential! Multiple positions available entry level and advanced! As a
CAD Detailer/BIM Modeler , you will be responsible for detailing all components of a custom metal building system including the primary steel framing, secondary steel framing, wall panel systems, roof panel systems, and all associated flashings and trims to ensure all components fit together correctly as part of a complete design solution.
As a
CAD Detailer/BIM Modeler , you will
- Creating construction anchor bolt drawings.
- Creating permit/approval drawings.
- Creating electronic 3D models of custom-building systems using 3D drafting software.
- Creating shop drawings and reports for in-house fabrication and production teams.
- Creating erection drawings and bill of materials for field construction use.
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. You will need the following to succeed in this role: - High School diploma (or equivalent) and earned a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or two-year vocational school certification with a focus in architecture, drafting, construction management or engineering technology.
- Possess basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience operating CAD software
- Experience with Tekla Structures, Revit or similar 3D modeling software.
- Prior metal building detailing experience!

Salary is between $48,000 and $60,000 per year. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
