Senior Associate, Business Analyst – Global Financial Systems

Location: New York, NY or Iselin, NJ

Hybrid Schedule (2–3 days onsite)

Compensation: $80K-$100k annually + Bonus

Our client is a global financial market infrastructure organization at the center of the world’s FX ecosystem. Their systems handle trillions of dollars in daily transactions, ensuring safer and more efficient currency settlement across global markets.

What you'll do:

The Business Analyst will join the Technology group, supporting mission-critical systems that reduce systemic risk and improve operational efficiency across financial institutions worldwide. This is a high-visibility role suited for someone with a solid foundation in financial systems analysis, business requirements documentation, and cross-functional collaboration between technology and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed business and functional requirements , user stories, and process documentation in partnership with senior analysts.
• Work with development and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and adhere to usability standards.
• Build expertise in assigned product areas and provide SME support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, data mapping, and system validation activities across the software lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Finance, Business, or related field .
• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst within banking, financial services, or fintech .
• Strong understanding of SDLC , including both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
• Proven ability to produce Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) .
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle, settlements, and payments systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
