Job Description

Are you ready to elevate your career with a company that values collaboration, innovation, and long-term growth? A Houston-headquartered engineering firm is seeking a Building Envelope Project Manager to join their dynamic group - a team that thrives on solving complex challenges across:

  • Building Envelope
  • Forensic Analysis
  • Parking Restoration
  • Restoration & Renovation

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • Employee-Owned: Enjoy the benefits of ownership and equity - a key reason many of their leaders have stayed for 15+ years.
  • Global Reach, Local Feel: With 26 offices worldwide and a strong presence across the South and Northeast U.S., you'll collaborate across borders while staying rooted in Houston.
  • Unified Team Model: Unlike firms with individual profit centres, this group operates as one cohesive unit. This means more collaboration, more learning, and more impact.
  • Diverse & High-Profile Projects: From stadiums to high-rise commercial buildings, your work will go far beyond residential properties.
  • Work-Life Balance: No pigeon-holing here. You won't be stuck behind a desk - expect site visits, hands-on problem-solving, and real-world impact.
  • Top-Tier Benefits & Incentives: Consistent profitability means employees are well-rewarded - and it shows in their exceptional staff retention.

Key Responsibilities

As a Building Envelope Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage building enclosure projects from investigation through design and construction administration.
  • Conduct forensic evaluations of building envelope systems, including roofing, waterproofing, curtain walls, windows, and facades.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, repair recommendations, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with internal teams across multiple offices to leverage expertise and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and high-quality service.
  • Oversee field investigations, testing, and site inspections to assess performance and identify issues.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Participate in business development efforts by nurturing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in building envelope consulting or diagnostics
  • Strong project management and client-facing skills
  • A passion for technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving
  • PE license preferred (or on track)
