Billing Technician

We’re seeking a Billing Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll handle patient registration, insurance verification, billing, and scheduling for outpatient services. You’ll also assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and payment collection , while providing excellent customer service at the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance eligibility and process billing information
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Obtain authorizations for procedures and referrals
• Collect payments and assist with billing inquiries
• Maintain accurate patient records in Epic
• Provide front desk support and answer patient questions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in billing, collections, or patient registration
• Knowledge of managed care and insurance processes
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
• Computer proficiency; Epic experience preferred
