Job Description

Razny Jewelers, a high-end jewelry and fine watch retailer with four stores in the Chicagoland area, is looking for a full time/luxury Bench Jeweler to join the manufacturing/service team working out of our Highland Park, IL location.

Responsibilities:

• · Diamond and gemstone setting
• · Ring sizing and basic jewelry repair
• · Assembling mountings that range from moderate to complex designs
• · Laser welding (being able to re-tip prongs, chain repair, etc)
• · Ability to take a job from raw casting to finishing

Requirements:

• 5-7 years minimum experience at the bench working with high-end jewelry/fine jewelry;
• Experience working with diverse materials (e.g., platinum, yellow gold, white gold) and diamonds/gemstones
• Professional work ethic, communication skills and confidentiality
• Flexibility to work overtime and/or modified work schedules as needed by the business
• Desire to learn and adapt regardless of past experience
• GIA or trade school a plus
